1. About the Service

The procure.bn AI Assistant ("the Assistant") is an internal knowledge tool provided by procure.bn ("we", "us") to assist users with questions relating to procure.bn processes, policies, user manuals, and related procurement procedures.

The Assistant is powered by artificial intelligence and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technology. Responses are generated based on official procure.bn documentation and may not always reflect the most current policies or procedures.

2. Eligibility and Access

Access to the Assistant is restricted to authorised users only. To use the service, you must:

• Submit a registration request and receive approval from an administrator
• Maintain a valid account in good standing
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations of Brunei Darussalam

We reserve the right to suspend or revoke access at any time, without prior notice, if we reasonably believe that these terms have been violated.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Assistant solely for its intended purpose of obtaining information about procure.bn processes and related matters. You must not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, circumvent, or exploit any part of the system
• Share your login credentials with any other person
• Use the service to transmit harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
• Attempt to extract, scrape, or systematically collect data from the Assistant
• Use the service for any commercial purpose outside of your authorised role

4. Accuracy of Information

The Assistant uses artificial intelligence to generate responses. Whilst we strive to ensure accuracy, responses may occasionally contain errors or omissions. The Assistant should not be relied upon as a definitive source of legal, financial, or regulatory guidance.

You are responsible for verifying any information provided by the Assistant before acting upon it. For authoritative guidance, please contact the relevant department or support@procure.bn.

5. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You must:

• Use a strong password that meets our password policy requirements
• Enable two-factor authentication where required or recommended
• Notify us immediately at support@procure.bn if you suspect unauthorised access to your account

Passwords expire every 90 days and must be updated promptly upon expiry.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, documentation, and materials made available through the Assistant are the property of procure.bn or their respective owners. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any content without prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, procure.bn shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Assistant. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by you for access to the service.

8. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Assistant at any time with or without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Brunei Darussalam. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Brunei Darussalam.
